Avalanche Basin Outfitters

Avalanche Basin Outfitters, owned by Doug and Zita Caltrider, operates from White Sulphur Springs, Montana in the Big Belt Mountain Range. The outfitter guides dry fly wade fishing trips on private ranch land, offering an excellent variety of rivers, streams, and lakes with abundant fish. Located between the Big Belt, Little Belt, and Castle Mountain Ranges, they provide access to the Smith River and its tributaries which flow 30 miles through private ranchlands. The operation also conducts combination big game hunting for elk, mule deer, whitetail, and antelope during fall season.
