About

Go on a 7-day wilderness fly fishing and backcountry camping adventure in Montana's Bob Marshall Wilderness. The trip starts with a two-day horseback pack into the pristine South Fork of the Flathead River, followed by a 35-mile float trip over 3.5 days. Anglers target native West Slope cutthroat trout with dry fly fishing and bull trout with streamers in one of the most genetically pure native trout populations in Montana. Accommodations include comfortable backcountry camps with fresh riverside meals and campfires under the stars. Only a handful of guided pack and float trips are permitted annually to protect this fragile 1.5 million-acre wilderness ecosystem.
