About
Homestead Ranch Outfitters LLC is a beautiful 5,000-acre working ranch nestled in the foothills of the Little Belt Mountains, with the Judith River running through it surrounded by cottonwood trees. The private acreage adjoins thousands of acres in the Lewis and Clark National Forest and the Judith River Elk Refuge. The ranch offers hunting, fishing, horseback riding and overnight mountain trips. The ranch has been family operated since 1960 and serves only small groups. The main lodge is a restored 1880 two-story log home that lends itself to a comfortable and homey atmosphere with gracious hospitality. They also operate a cabin in the heart of Forest Service land in the Little Belt Mountains with private fishing access.
