The guide specializes in Landlocked Salmon, freshwater cousins of Atlantic Salmon ranging from one to seven pounds, known for their exceptional fighting ability. Fishing is fast from ice-out in early May through late June, consistent through July and August using downriggers, and great again in September as larger fish prepare to spawn. Shaun has deep roots in the guiding tradition, as his great-grandfather was a renowned guide on Rangeley Lake in the early 1900s.
