Mile High Outfitters, owned by Travis and Brenda Bullock and their sons Charlie and Clay, operates out of Challis, Idaho with exclusive access to over 150 miles of streams and 20 high mountain lakes in the Frank Church Wilderness. The business offers both guided and drop camp fishing trips for lake and stream fishing, utilizing a pack string of horses and mules for wilderness access. They provide fully outfitted backcountry experiences with professional guides experienced in horsemanship and fly fishing. Fishing trips feature native cutthroat trout, rainbow trout, brook trout, bull trout, and whitefish across pristine waterways including the Middle Fork Salmon River, Big Creek, Camas Creek, West Fork of the Yankee Fork, and Cottonwood Creek. Lake fishing typically begins after July 4th and extends through early September, while stream fishing is best in August and early September.
